Like my mindset and emotions over the past year, this series contains many waves: ups, downs and uncertainties. The bold, confident strokes of paint represent my desire for maintaining a sense of control amidst the unknown. The light airiness of the overall series represents my desire for calm in this world of chaos. The brighter color palette represents hope as I am looking toward brighter days ahead. The fluidity and buoyancy in these paintings represent the idea that we will all float on.
